Man – Making Curriculum

Rishi Vatika Gurukul School follows a 5 faced Education  curriculum aims at the overall development of a new generation of future citizens. Brought up in a natural loving and domestic atmosphere, here learning takes place as play! The attitude of life as play and learning as a very natural and involuntary growth – will develop the human being whose strength is character building and purity of individual, which we find sadly in short supply in the society of today. A child brought up unspoiled by commercialising “Money-Consciousness” or political prejudices or dark Superstitions is the ideal of the “Rishi Vatika Gurukul School” as a way of life that will be inculcated right from the kindergarden stage. Once a students joins at the age of 5 years will continue till his post graduation level at the same campus.

Five Faced Education

1. Veda: Students will be introduced to Sanskrit and Scriptures of Sanatana Dharma from a very young age. 

                   चतुर्वेदाः पुराणानि सर्वोपनिषदस्तथा
                   रामायणं भारतं च गीता सद्दर्शनानि च ॥

The students will be taught authentic Asthadhyayi Paninan System of Learning and along with Amarakosha and  Sabda Rupavali for proficiency in Sanskrit & all Bharatiya languages. Students will also be  introduced to the basics of of 4 Vedas, 18 Puranas, Upanishads, Ramayana, Mahabharatha, Gita and 6 Darshanas starting at young age to post graduation Level. 

2. Vigyan: The curriculum includes Mathematics including Ancient Ganita, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Vedic Hinduism, Ancient Indian History, Vedic Astronomy, Vedic Sciences along with  Mother tongue, English, Hindi. We follow Andhra Pradesh state syllabus and are recognized by AP State Government to run classes from 1st to 8th standard and also follow National Institute of Open Schooling System.

3. Yoga: From Yogasanas to higher Yoga, Yama & Niyama, Spiritual Sadhana, diet, relaxation of the mind and body, techniques of concentration and an increased focus on the higher purpose of Life – these are the guidelines in framing the syllabus, curriculum and the study material of the Gurukul School.

4. Krishi: The cirriculam includes training students in agriculture practice, managing cows, cooking, cleaning, social service, (Selfless Service) from very young age. At student comes to teenage he will be trained on other skills and trades of life.

5. Kala: Students will be trained in Art, Painting, Music, Dance, Traditional Martial Arts etc.
