Spiritual Resort & Ashram at Rishi Vatika is a place of spiritual shelter and is an ideal place for you/your parents to take a break out of the daily chores and simply relax with natural beauty and serenity. It is established in 50 acres of land near Horsley hills, and offers peace to real spiritual aspirants, conducive atmosphere to practice spiritual Sadhana, and enable you to rise higher and higher.

With specially earmarked area as ‘Panchavati’ on top of a hillock can be used for Meditation, Prayer, Japa. A part from Panchavati, a Ganesh Mandap, Yagasashala, Narashima Guha is being planned in the vincity.
Various kinds of living facilities and amenities are provided for members, visitors, and their families to stay for short or longer duration or weekends. An Elders resort is also planned for retired/working elders who can stay and contribute their skills for various activities towards the growth of Rishi Vatika.

    Rishi Vatika is known to have a strong influence of Lord Narasimha. An ancient place identified in Rishi Vatika is to be dedicated to Lord Narsimha. A shrine for Lord Narasimha will be built in this area

      This will accommodate VIP guests and a museum, memorable of Dr. E. Ananthacharya and Dr. E. Vedavyas.

  • Yagnashala
    This is an area earmarked to perform Yagnas, Homas and Havans. This will be in a typical Parnashala style reflecting the ancient structural concept of the Rishis.
  • Panchavati
    An area has been identifies as Panchavati. This is an area for meditation, Vedic chanting, for students to learn Vedas, research scholars to hold discussions. This is especially suited for Japa and Dhyana. An area is earmarked as ‘Panchavati’ on the top of east side hillock where the five standard varieties of trees (now plants) are planted. These include Aswatha, Tulasi or Basil, Banyan, Goose berry (Usiri or Nellikai), and Oudambara. Mango trees, Banana or plantain trees, Coconut trees are also considered auspicious. Goose berry (Usiri or Nellikai) tree is famous for granting boons and assuring ‘tapas siddhi’.
    Panchavati can be used as a place for Prayer, Meditation, Japa, Dhyana. Vedic chanting will also be performed here with trees surrounding the place. It will also be used for certain types of Vedic teaching also. The serenity around it is a blessing.
    Panchavati term appears in Ramayana as Lord Rama and Sita lived in the forests. It is considered as a place for Tapasya as five types of holy trees are present. Panchavati is in Nasik city in Maharashtra on banks of Godavari River.
    In modern times Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa (1836-1886) built a Panchavati on the banks of Ganges in Dakshineswar in suburbs of Kolkata and did great tapasya.
