Overview

To impart education through Scientific Gurukul Method by which character is formed, strength of mind is increased, and intellect is expanded to enable one to stand on one’s own feet. Bharatiya Method or Gurukul Education is not only Religious or Dharmic Education but it comprises of three dimensions मुक्तकरी शिक्षा (Education for Liberation), अर्थकरी शिक्षा (Education for prosperity), युक्तकरी शिक्षा (Education for Synergic life.)

Our Goal

Rishi Vatika is a residential Gurukulam for boys who wish to become Scientists and Technocrats at a young age and pursue their career in the Technology Industry, Artificial Intelligence, Research & Development and International Academia and make Bharath a technologically advanced Viswa Guru.

Background:

India lost the Mobile Cell Phone Technology opportunity. We just became consumers and could not even build our own technology in the mobile industry and we import everything. Recently, we started manufacturing but we do not own a single product. We lost the battle hete. Similarly, in the Information Technology Industry, we provide the best manpower but we do not own any of the products. We worked hard to make the multinational corporations richer. Thus, we lost the Information Technology Industry also to other countries. Why is this happening? We have become the largest consumer market in the world. Is it because of our Education System, in which we are trained to become just employees?

The next big thing is “ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE” for which the battle has already started. Are we preparing ourselves or will we let this opportunity also slip from our hands?

“Artificial Intelligence is the future, not only for Russia, but for all humankind. It comes                                                                with Colossal opportunities, but also threats that are difficult to Predict. Whoever becomes the leader                                                                           in this sphere will become the ruler of the world.”

                                                                                                                                            – Russian President, Vladimir Putin

Is the world headed toward digital colonization by USA and China? A wake up call to Action. Over population, unemployment and poor education make India especially vulnerable. Many of its industries are technologically obsolete and dependent on imported technologies. India presently has a disappointing level of AI development and it needs to embark on a rapid program to catch up

                                                                                             – Rajiv Malhotra in his book “Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Power”

We need to make Artificial Intelligence in India and make Artificial Intelligence work for India

                                                                                                                                                         – Shri. Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India

“Computational Linguistics:

European Universities regarded Sanskrit as the Mother of Language in Europe and Asia, and study of its grammar was required in any advanced linguistics curriculum. Paninian’s Astadhyayi was mined by the 19th century European Sanskrit Scholars to help develop European linguistics with the help of Indian pandits.

Today Indian experts in Sanskrit and computational linguistics have been selling their services to foreign organizations to help them incorporate Sanskrit grammar into the field of computational linguistics. The branch of AI called Natural Language Processing is key to the understanding of spoken and written human statements, and it is based on the research done in computational linguistics. India should be leading and controlling this research to exploit its commercial applications.

However, the sobering reality is that hardly any world-class product is developed or owned in India that enjoys a large market share in NLP. In essence, Indian experts have once again served as coolies in the transfer of critical knowledge to firms in the US, China and Japan. The intellectual property at the core of major applications is not in the hands of institutions based in India.”

(Taken from Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Power)
