This would be a dedicated block for all food and dining activities. The preparation and distribution of food for all inmates and visitors would happen here. Modern amenities for cooking and dining would be built along with storage facilities. Nitya Annadana program will also be run.
Central Kitchen:
This kitchen runs round the year (all 365 days). Simple vegetarian food as per the menu defined by the Ashram Management will be available at fixed times for notified durations. Morning Tea/Coffee/Milk, Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Tea with Snacks and Dinner in the night are as per normal standards.
The will be a Zero waste Kitchen.
Kitchen and the Menus
The Kitchen is run on healthy grounds and the Menus will be based on expertise and guidance of Nutritional specialists. Traditional values of food are adhered to.
The Vegetable garden
The Vegetables and Grains are grown in Rishi Vatika itself based on principles of Organic farming. They are naturally grown. No chemical fertilizers are used.
Food for Yoga and Naturopathy
Expertise is available for providing Standard Naturopathy practices and food habits suitable for Yoga practices.
Cafeteria Locations
As Annexure to the Main Ashram blocks and temporary blocks, two kitchen rooms are available. In front of them, dining arrangements are being made. In future, when more than 50 people need to take food, then cafeteria arrangements can be reviewed and revised.
Kitchen Store
This is used for storing the food materials such as rice/wheat, pulses, grains, vegetables, spices etc.
