In the evening, friends and family were invited for a riveting session about “Gurukulum: A Window to Indian Heritage,” hosted at Shri Durga Shiva Vishnu Temple followed by dinner.

It was an extraordinary day when the founder of Rishi Vatika Gurukulam, G. S. Raju ji and Shanta Rani ji, paid a visit to our home. Their arrival was marked by an air of excitement and anticipation that filled the atmosphere. We were honored and thrilled to have such a distinguished guest in our midst.
Raju ji’s visit was nothing short of a remarkable experience. The moment he entered our home, his warm smile and humble demeanor instantly put us at ease. It was evident that he carried the essence of the Gurukulam’s values with him, and this was a reflection of the institution he had founded.
During lunch, Raju ji shared stories of the Gurukulam’s journey and its commitment to holistic education. His passion for nurturing young minds and instilling values was palpable in every word he spoke. He spoke about the importance of character development and how the Gurukulam aimed not only to impart knowledge but also to shape responsible and compassionate individuals.
Later that evening, Raju ji graciously agreed to give a short talk about the philosophy and principles that underpinned the Gurukulam’s educational approach. It was an enlightening experience, and we gathered around with rapt attention as he spoke. He emphasized the significance of personalized learning, the guru-shishya relationship, and the integration of art, music, and nature into the curriculum.
Raju ji’s lecture was not just an intellectual discourse but a heartfelt sharing of his vision and mission. He spoke about how every child is unique and deserves an education tailored to their individual needs. His words resonated deeply with us, reaffirming our belief in the importance of holistic education.
The evening ended with a beautiful dinner where we continued our discussions about education, values, and the profound impact the Gurukulam had on our son Varun. Raju ji and Shanta Rani ji’s visit left an indelible impression on our family. It was a privilege to have them in our home, and the experience reinforced our admiration for Rishi Vatika Gurukulam and its founder.
